A critic will look at a piece of work they donβt like and pass comment, then pose a potential solution.A whiner will look at a piece of work they donβt like, then burst into tears, shrieking about how the artist has specifically set out to offend them, and never actually says anything constructive. Like this;
"Personally, I find your work to show an extreme lack of originality and taste.
It makes me extremely upset to see you getting so much attention with your soft-core furry smut but that's what your watchers want, so whatever!
Your drawings remind me of women on steroids, unattractive and unnatural.
You're a comic artist who really can't grasp any good concepts to get attention so instead draws furries with their boobs popping out. HOW ORIGINAL! : D
Oh, and lol, how almost every one of your 'stories' involves girls (of numerous animal types, but, you know, no connection to bestiality ) grow huge boobs for no reason.
I wish you would please, as the one and only favor I will ever as you to do for me, please please just quit drawing.

I tend to post rather a lot of art and photos of er... well-endowed lasses. They're all pretty alt, but they do indeed fit a stereotype that pisses plenty of people off.
Thing is, I'm a girl. And I look like Chloe (36G, tiny waist, blonde hair). Women who want to rant at me about my art or the images I post soon back off when they realize they're actually also bitching about *me* as I naturally exist. I'm a walking stereotype, thanks to my genes for the most part. It's so easy to tell them to sod off.
Being a chap, it makes you such a target hon! I love your material. Ignore the whingey bitchy doom and gloom brigade. Boring bastards.

love this comic - unfortunately it doesn't seem there is any end in sight for the utter madness that is clicking on a picture that offends you then leaving nasty and unconstructive comments. I mean really, if you don't like it, move on. this is only the second time i ever commented on your art, i enjoy everything you draw but usually i keep my opinoin to myself, but this i felt i needed to comment on, jolly, you are an excellent artist dude, i was away from this site for like 3 months and the very first thing i did when i came back was check your profile for new works, your stuff kicks ass in every way, people who make negative little whiny comments like that are just idiotic little punks, who need to be strung up by the neck till their legs stop kicking. lol and what the bloody hell is wrong with furrys with big boobs? that little whiner is just one of those closet perves, wanks to it in private then trash talks it in public to rid himself of guilt. and your comics pown dude, their simplicity combined with such hilarious commentation makes them brillliant in every way. keep it coming jolly, you rule.

It's a sensible thing to follow the adage "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", or in this case: if you don't like it, GTFO and stop looking.
This is fine 99% of the time.
However, there are extreme cases in which the piece in question obliterates your artistic sensibilities to such an extent that you have to say something about it lest you explode.

when you are a artist (how big or small your name is) there will always be whiners in your (maybe) HUGE ammount of watchers, those people just don't get it, and will probably (after they're done whining) try to make als a bitt of art trying to be better then you .... they're just not worth the trouble

I agree with the response "If they don't like it, they don't have to look." It's not like you're forcing them to watch you, fave your work, or even go through your gallery. You draw what you like and that's all. I for one, love LOVE your art, your style, and pretty much all that you draw. It's unique, it's your own and that's what an artist is all about. Being yourself and drawing what you love, what inspires you, and sometimes...what the public WANTS to see. Keep up your amazing work, and continue to laugh at immaturity at it's best.

To be honest, Jack. Not that your really would give a toss, but I love your work. You have some of the most original stuff. Your artist style is like something very different. I couldn't care less if they have furry girls and about half the people on here draw them.
I'm not a person who's fond of furries, but I love yours. You make them seem so slender, cute and sexy. ^^ Most people make them just look like animals standing on two feet wearing clothes, bt you give different forms. You give them such human imagary and throw on the animal features and that's what I love.
I know this will probably be read and ignored, but I guess I just wanted to say. Your work is something to really be admired. Sometimes when I'm having trouble with a woman's posing and form, I take a gander at your work to see what I'm missing. Your work is not only fantastic, but helps aid me in my own work and I thank you for that. =3
