A couple of years back, the How To Play strips caught the attention of the (Now defunct) games magazine, Play.
At the time, I was working for Rare, and therefore; Microsoft. Which meant I couldn’t say bad things about their products in an official capacity, lest they cry and send someone over to set me on fire.
This rather limited the games I could turn into HTP strips for actual publication, so I came up with a couple of new ideas, one being; spoof games promotions.

Play* (and all its sister magazines) sank back in February…….this had nothing to do with me!

(Though, there is a worrying trend forming. A couple of years after I applied to Free Radical Design, it went down. Then, after being cut from Rare, I applied to RealTime Worlds….)

*That's the American incarnation I'm talking about. Play UK is still up and running.

Edit: Jeezus christ. Shut up about Louis and the damn pills!! The sound-bite that kicks in when pills are found depends on the character closest to them. When I was playing; it was mainly Bill.
