There's an argument to be made that because humans fucked it up for other humans, humans are also the ones who are going to fix it. Either that, or we die. But here's the beautiful thing, it does keep getting better. The world is improving. Less illiteracy, less poverty, less racism, less horribleness. Sure, people are still horrible, but far fewer than ever before. Because most people now know better. And more people are learning to be better every day. Even if you think this whole place is a crapsack, it's smelling better and better every day.
