And the naysayers wonder why I don't listen to them....You shouldn't either! If you feel in your gut that it's the right course of action; it usually is.

Wonder where I'd be right now if I'd listened to those teachers and focused on learning all those important skills that I've never found a use for in the real world?

I listened to the people who told me "get a back up plan." Now I sell concrete instead of stories. But on the upside I also brew my own beer and 5 gal of malty goodness does help one forget one's shortcomings.

The teacher is and was probably an alcoholic and now has herpes from shagging his wife's sister, the bloke in the second panel has a gambling problem and sold most of his crap on ebay to fuel it, and third panel is probably popping Viagra like sweets for his online Russian bride all the while you're sitting pretty with your bags of money and hamster alter ego. I gave up on following my dreams because I married a naysayer (mind you, my current job still rocks, so I'm a lucky one). I'm finally getting over that and moving towards what I want to do, though, and balancing where I am with where I want to be. You were one of the primary influences that got me off my keister. Thank you for being a bad influence and a good example!
