Ceta the Dratini

Bio/Short Backstory: As a newborn, Ceta was at first a regular old wild Dratini. She was alone, but enjoyed it that way. She loved having everything to herself. One day, a friendly couple of a Sceptile and a Raichu found her in the forest. There was a gash in her tail that she didn't seem to notice, therefore making the two very worried. They took Ceta in and nursed her tail to health. She was about to leave after they did so, but they kept her as their child.

She lived her kid life with them, her mother Sceptile and her father Raichu. They lived in a nice cottage on a wide mountain, at the edge of a riverbank. Ceta just loved to play outside, even by herself, so she got an idea. She towed the basket that her mother cradled her in as a baby, plopped in in the water, and hopped on. She loved the idea of sailing around. Her mother and father soon realized what she did and came to the edge of the river bank. They called and tried to bring her in, but Ceta had no means to listen. She sailed quaintly atop the river, until she came to a waterfall. It was huge, and went down from the mountain. She tried paddling back, but one skimp of a Dratini tail couldn't row her back home. She flew down the waterfall.

Ceta lay unconcious, saved by a log floating beneath her. In fact, there were many logs and driftwood floating about. When she woke up, her tail was (thankfully) fit safely around the basket and her head and neck on the log. She knew she was far from home. There was no way back up the mountain. She knew she was all alone.

She eventually retired the piece of wood and floated down what seemed like the endless river forever. Every day she'd park her basket on the shore, get food for the day, and set back off. She eventually grew very fond of nature, trees, and especially the water. She loved to float around on her basket down the river ever day, every night.

Ceta lived her teenage life as an outcast, and was called by Pokemon on the riverbank who caught her eye "a hermit" and such. She did the same routine, and knew when to pick a fight with demanding Pokemon. She eventually came to a part of the river of which lead into a town from the distance. She became curious and, instead of trying to paddle away, she let herself sail nearer.

The young Dratini's basket handle got pryed under a bridge upon her arrival. For the first few days, she lay low, got food, and went back to her basket, but as her days there got longer, she decided to come out of her shell. She tied her pink blanket inside her basker around her neck like a bandanna (of which she saw many other Pokemon doing) and lived her life in what she soon found out was called "Tao Village".
