After the event with Tricket, Riven had noticed something in him so she decided to investigate. She has some books that mention dark entities, to which she has a certain affinity. What she did not count on is that she would receive an unexpected visit.

Riven: I know I saw those kind of eyes on some page... hmm, maybe... oh here they are, that shape... could that thing be...
a soul eater?
Unknow: A soul eater, yes maybe
Riven: What the...!!!

Behind her appeared the strange creature, enormous in size and with a penetrating gaze that causes fear.

Riven: What!? What are you... What are you doing here!?!?
Unknow: You actually know what i am and the reason im here are you
Riven: WHAT!?!?
Unknow: You are so terrified, don´t worry im not here to hurt you. I... just want to know something about you
Riven: About me? I didn´t nothing to summon you, I swear I was not trying to...
Unknow: Help Tricket? of course not. I just want to ask you something
Riven: W-what it is?
Unknow: Did you remember anything about us?
Riven: About us?!?! I don´t understand!!
Unknow: Any memory of what you were? Something?
Riven: I- i´m just a common nightkin
Unknow: A common nightkin with a uncommon soul... You really don´t remember nothing
Riven: I don´t understand, what am i supposed to remember??
Unknow: Thats the funny part, it´s something that you wanted to forget. And i can´t believe you did it
Riven: Wait what?? What are you talking about??
Unknow: It's something you made me swear not to bring back those memories
Riven: I am not understanding anything, at least you can explain something of what you say and make sense?
Unknow: If it's what you want, but I'll keep my oath. I can only mention that you wanted to start a new life, something different from what we lived. A peaceful life, or so you gave me to understand
Riven: Why do you respond as if I know you?
Unknow: Perhaps because we share a lot of experiences that you completely forgot. But that I still remember, has been so long time Riven, and my mind cleared when I saw you again.
Riven: Wait, wait, i- i...
Unknow: All this time I have strengthened and devoured souls following an unknown objective, but now my true reason for existing... was you and I must serve only you
Riven: ... ... What the actual hay?!?! You think i will trust you??
Unknow: Put me to the test, I'll do what you ask me
Riven: ... Anything?
Unknow: Anything
Riven: (Nightshade will kill me)

Im not good with stories but i liked how this turned up xD
Heres a little lore about these two, and there is more.
The reason for the latter was because Riven was sent to find new friends elsewhere due to being obsessed with the aforementioned books of dark entities.
I'm sure you'll be intrigued by what Riven will ask Unknow to ask, I'll just tell them what it has to do with a suit xD
