A commission for ~GlitchemHe gave me his simpleβbut effective!βcharacter design, and a simple idea, "something relating to fire", and I got to decide the rest.

What did you use? Is this all digital, or did you do a preliminary graphite sketch?

All Photoshop, but I did one thumbnail on the DS, and three or four compositions before finding one that worked.

I can never get a decent underdrawing done digitally...

All the transforming and warping makes it easy, but I'm finding my techniques treat me better when I bring traditional art into the mix.
