This is a wonderful piece! The colors look nice together, and the pose seems natural but horrifying at the same time.
The expression of the face and eyes convey a lot of emotion.
This whole piece in general just makes you feel pity for this creature, whilst at the same time feeling fascination.
The concept of the wolf skin layering on the human skin is very creative! This is a wonderful addition to how the art feels and is creatively designed.
All of these elements put together really make a brilliant piece! Definitley favoriting this and hitting the βWatchβ button!

Looking back at this, I like how the wolf builds over the person. The wolf skin covers rather than the human skin getting torn off.

This image is so striking.Β I've been working on a story of a guy who is transformed into a werewolf and keeps his mind (well, most of it) and is completely terrified of the process as it occurs for the first time, and this is THE image that has been in my mind for that part of the story.Β The fear in the character's face is absolutely palatable!Β If I upload the story on DA someday, may I use this image with a link back here?Β Or at least link to it from that chapter?

I like this piece. It's unique because I haven't seen that many pieces here on this site that capture the drama and tension of being in mid-transformation; almost all of the pieces I've seen deal with what comes after. You've really succeeded here; the emotion of the moment is apparent, especially in the subject's eyes. Well done!

Amazing work on this! Love the blod effect, is that her skin tearing open, or is it just an extra layer of skin, complete with blood? Also, what happens to her clothes?
Also, does Lawrence keep her mind, or does she become one of those mindless werewolves?
Either way, this is an amazing werewolf transformation, I'd love to see it in a movie or animation.

Thanks! Her skin is preserved, but the wolf is appearing over top of her. The quality of her consciousness depends on what has event has spurred on her transformation.

Oh, so its like a second skin then. Coolio!
Also, what has spurred her transformation in this picture, and will she be able to control herself in thia circumstance?
Sorry for all the questions, I just find characters with some backstory interesting. ^_^

There wasn't a specific backstory. I only knew that to capture a moment of fear before the transformation was completed. So I'll say the rest is up to the viewer.

I guess I meant to say that the transformation was well-thoughtout. Its more than "Suddenly, WEREWOLF", and I like that.
Also, so I can think of her looking at herself post-transformation, thinking "Well, that was scary!" ? :3
Anyways, this is an astounding, thought-provoking piece of art you made.

You know I almost put her instead of him when I first commented, I think it was something about the length of the hair falling away that made me want to but I ended up saying him because I just wasnt certain. I couldnt see enough of the human to be sure of their sex.
