Description
All-nighter, get! This is pretty sloppy, I know. But I still like it, because:
1) It is for Storyboarding & Composition, and I took tons of productive shortcuts
2) It is of Pride and Prejudice, an excellent movie.
Edit: I don't like this anymore because:
1) It looks crappy
2) Textures don't match
3) You can see watermarks in the textures
4) It was trying to emulate a screenshot from a film. I used absolutely no imagination/artistic interpretation in this construction
5) All the above reasons, and yet it is popular because of the subject matter alone.
6) Painful compositionβthere's a reason this is a frame from a movie and not a study of a painting
7) remind me to never upload anything from a movie/game/book again
Criteria for this storyboard was to chose a movie representing any era between the beginning of time and the 1960s. This production board needed to include an animal in the shot.

>>11.28.10 edit: If someone ever says in an image description that they are "pretty proud of something" or perhaps "really liked how it turned out", one can almost guarantee that the image sucks.

Wow amazing! I loved this movie, although I liked the way it happened in the novel better, but oh well.
I want to hang this on my wall

I have this image printed out in actual size, spanning 4 8"x11" pieces of paper. It looks really ugly when it's that big.
As pretty as the image is as a whole, you can see every crappy shortcut I used with the stamp tool when the image is printed out.
Thanks for your compliment.

love it!
its very fine
in the movie, thought the geese were really funny..
actually, the geese running wasnt really part of the script, in other words "unplanned"..but it actually came out good..

The new one was a good movie, but I've heard from other viewers that it was not a good representation of the novel.

Um, beautiful, but MANAGE YOUR TIME BETTER. None of this late night crap, Jonathan. This doesn't have to be perfect or done extraordinarily well. I'm not saying don't push yourself, but you need to learn how far to take these pieces.

I don't think it's done extraordinarily well. You can tell in a million and one places where I hastily applied the stamp tool. I guess I got worried when I heard "production board".
I gotta start living in Quadrant II.

Hey, hey, whoa. This is supposed to be for storyboarding? NOOOOOO! Mine suck. ;_;
Those leaves! I'd say that they are to die for, but... that'd just be silly to die for those leaves in this piece of art (or IS it silly? Moo.), but they just please my eyes in ways that lesser leaves wouldn't? Yah, yah!
Muy, muy, muy, muy excelente, amigo!
Cheers,
Bradley

Pride and Prejudice is a very accessible movie. Why is everyone surprised by my liking it?
Thanks for the props, Meg.
