InspirationI wanted to participate in the Behind the Scenes at dAr contest , mainly because I'm impressed with `ginkgografix 's work as the new gallery moderator and want to help her projects be awesome.
And for my entry I decided to make my first ever contribution to the dA Related gallery! This is my first time ever using Adobe Fireworks, and first time making a stamp. I'm actually really worried about the .gif file displaying properly.
The story behind this is basically this: I find it really hard to explain deviantART to non-deviants. You know? Like, it's a website for artsy people.
But it's so much more than a website. That's what I was trying to explain. deviantART is
a gallery
an inspiration
a community
a home
deviantART has given me so much in the past. I feel like giving back.
Technique
I didn't really understand the more advanced features of Fireworks, so I just manually edited the states. There's over a hundred, too.

Alright, critique. First, this is a really well done stamp.
What I would change: The white around the words is a little strong, I would turn it down a little. Also, the words change quite quickly, I would slow it down a tiny bit.
BUT, your transitions are very good and the message is clear and easy to read.
