Story behind this:

When the young and hopeful adventurer Angela answered the call for prospective heroes from far and wide to take part in a grand tournament in the Undermountain, she expected the pre-entry trials to be relatively simple.

The wizard Zacharias, who agreed to be the haphazardly formed party's sponsor, sent them out of Waterdeep to investigate a meteor impact site, and report their findings.

The nearer they got to the crater though, the more bizarre occurrences conveyed quite clearly that things weren't going to be that simple...

A long, sticky tongue darts from the darkness amidst the bushes and hits Nat! She is now Grappled. Roll initiative!
