Number ten of my requested pics of 2008. I have titled the requests: The Mage Hat Requests/MHR. (I'VE REACHED THE TENTH! WHOOOO!!!
)This pic was requested by . She wished to have a pic of her cuddling (In a heart-warming, friendly way, not romantic.
) I've actually wanted to do this pic for a long time since I hit the snag in NeoJaxie's request, because of my undying love for the Mother series and the fact that Hikari's been an absolutely awesome friend since the beginning of this year. (We met no earlier than Christmas or New Years.)And when I got to her pic, I've decided to add more to the moment by putting in the questionable Ultimate Chimera who lurks in bathrooms (I wanted to joke about that for a while), and Salsa getting revenge on Yokuba. (I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT CHAPTER.
I only like the ending of it, because of what happens to Yokuba.)That's about it. I hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you at the end of July (possibly) to start on more requests.

Actually, the coloring style you’ve chosen is rather interesting because it gives the sense that everything about it—characters, background—was painted by hand. (Which is really cool; how’d you do that?

With the magic of the brushes in Photoshop (And my tablet.), I used the more air brush-y brushes and went from there.

Duster: "Less asking, more running for your damned life!!"
And like everyone who played Mother 3, I f***ing hate Yokuba. 
Besides, I love Salsa's grinning from ear to ear expression, so I think Yokuba getting a taste of his own meds is a better punishment.

Ah, the Ultimate Chimera in the Bathroom joke. Oh, how I still remember that scene with such fondness…

I laughed so hard when I heard it.
Well, I do dislike Yokuba to a certain degree, but I wouldn’t say I actually hate him; actually I remember I felt a little sorry for him when in Chapter Eight *gasp! Mother 3 spoilers alert to anyone who hasn’t played/beaten the game! 
Although I remember when I was playing through Chapter Three (in both my first and second file play through) and leveling up Salsa that Yokuba hardly ever (if never) shocked me at all; only once or twice during the battle against the Cactus Wolf, but never while I was battling regular field enemies.

I'm determined to either make a koma out of the joke or flat out animate it since I loved it so much. Basically Duster needs to use the restroom and tries to use the one where the U. Chimera was hiding.

I knew about him being a Magypsy since I had to spoil myself to see Lucas's whole backstory, which made me scream "What the f***?!? Why is this arsehole one of them!? He's too smelly, plus he's a pile of--" Okay I'll stop right there.
Oh well, it's the thought that counts.

Well, you weren’t the only one who had to spoil themselves of Mother 3’s greatest spoilers in order to learn the characters’ backstories (though I actually had had no idea of who Yokuba was, since nothing I’d read anywhere had said that).
Oh, wait… I can’t remember if you said you’d already finished playing through Mother 3 or not… I assumed you had… If you hadn’t, then I’m so, so, so sorry for spoiling anything…

Well, I sent you a voice sample via email for you to listen to and consider for your animation, since I don’t want you to send me the script and then have me (and you) discovering that I just don’t fit into Kumatora’s voice shoes.
Oh, by the way, you are completely free to say that it (the sample) sucks, since I know it does. 
Oh, okay. Still, I’ll be treading lightly when it comes to Mother 3 spolier grounds, since I don’t want to accidentally spoil the game for anyone else (at least not without a warning of some kind).

That’s true… It does make me wonder a bit why Nintendo of North America is making up excuses not to translate Mother 3 into English. (Not that I’m complaining, since aside for changing the game’s Japanese title to EarthBound 2 (bleh

Well Mother 1/Earthbound Zero just had sprite changes but they still kept the alchohol references, and Earthbound still kept the bathroom jokes, but once again had sprite changes.
NOA says that they weren't going to translate Mother 3, because to keep up with the market they are only working on the latest systems, so the GBA was pretty much "abandoned" for the DS.
With Mother 3 translated by fans, how could we lose?
