Number five of my requested pics of 2008. I have titled the requests: The Mage Hat Requests/MHR.This pic was requested by . She wanted a Brawl fan art. She didn't specify what characters should be in it, so I decided to play Brawl and get a screen shot of one of my fights. I made sort of a replica of the Pit and Mario versus Link and Yoshi battle in Subspace Emissary by having a TeamBrawl match of the four and make the photo shot dynamic.
After much lineart and coloring, I made a nice replica of the screenshot I was able to get. I'm sorry if it has both Mario characters being pummeled, but that was the only dynamic shot that I was able to get.
With that said, hope you enjoy!

And yes, that's what I was trying to go for. However I couldn't get to do that scene properly since I finished the game, so I had to do a make-shift reinactment of that scene.

Oh, did you know that you can rewatch Subspace Emissary movies, by going to one of the modes on the main Menu (I forget what itβs calledβ¦ but I remember itβs the color blue

I knew of the Movie reels that you can collect from Subspace, but I meant fighting Pit and Mario without having to get a second player to play as Yoshi or Link.

Heehee, the coloring style reminded me of OpenCanvas because it somewhat resembles how my stuff looks when I OC it.

Not really. I just used a screenshot that I took while playing Brawl and made lineart.
Normally I don't want to start an argument with fans, but yeah: Mario toasts Sonic any day!

And the flash has yet to be started. We still need to gather cast members for the first episode and animate the teaser trailer. Not to mention Mike is near finishing the final drafts for each of the episodes.

Well, if you need more voices, Id be happy to take on another role. Just let me know buddy, Id really love to see a Flash with my voice acting put to use!
By the way, hows those new sprites of Mage coming along? No worries about getting them done anytime soon. I plan on implementing his new look into the plot (either his char gets deleted or he just gets some new equipment...I think the second one sounds a bit less dramatic, but easier to implement)

And the sprites are nowhere near completed. I've only done one sprite and then got side-tracked after doing the requests. I'll send you the "sprites" if you're interested in looking at/editing them.

It's all right, you don't need to apologize for not making new comics lately. In fact, I want you to spend more time on Pixel Wars/life than on the FFI comic, don't let it stress you out!
