Description
I really like the new art style that the new Smash Bros game for the Wii-U/3DS gave to Mega Man, so I decided to draw the robot masters in that design. Next up, we have the Dr. Cossack Robot Master models from Mega Man 4, my all-time favourite Mega Man game with my second favourite group of Robot Masters!I took a break from drawing these, due to wanting to get Legends episode one ready, and right now I'm making a decent amount of progress, so I decided to work more on these guys! I'll admit, these were NOT easy to tackle. By the time I finished Bright Man, I knew I was going to have a hell of a time drawing them. I began to cry a little once Pharaoh Man was done.
Given that I just finished these guys, Mega Man 5 and 6 will be coming. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the group!

I like the way I myself drew Pharaoh Man, with that Egyptian-styled eyeshadow.

I like how Dust man is just shrugging while everyone else has cool poses.

Haha, thanks!
Yeah, whenever I played Mega Man 4, Dust Man always looked like he was shrugging and Pharoah Man was the disco Tut.

Tim Bishop, otherwise known as NintendoCapriSun, always thought Pharaoh Man was pointing to the ceiling as if to invite others to look there.

Like when Mega Man encounters him, Dust Man tries to think of something. then he looks over to Mega and just: " I dunno. " shrugging.

Since Dr. Cossack is Russian (as is his daughter, of course), wouldn't these bots be speaking with Russian accents, including the very Egyptian-themed Pharaoh Man?

Then again, Tundra Man, introduced 27 years and 7 games later, who was made by Dr. Cossack as well, seems to speak with an American accent, at least in the English voice track.

These are really nice! Makes me wish they'd let Nintendo take the helm at remastered megaman games using Smash rock's design as a basis and use this style

Thank you!! I'm very proud of drawing these, especially since I grew up with the more metallic Nintendo of America box art designs of Mega Man and the robot masters! (Mega Man 3-7, Soccer, Gameboy 1-5) While some of those were flawed for sure, I still enjoy them to death, and feel they were more robotic rather than anime kids in power armour.
I really hope that sometime in the future we get that sort of thing for Mega Man: a 3D render with the Super Smash Bros design! That really would be cool~

He's definitely an awesome Robot Master; definitely intimidating but peaceful at the same time. All of the Robot Masters are awesome, but I tend to love Dust Man and Pharaoh Man the most.
Thanks for popping on by, Luife!
