After climbing up several stacks of rocks a la The Lost Continent, Jane and Stan find themselves in more promising territory just outside the Great Valley. But the areas that still have green on them are occupied by a much larger individual of their kind. Even near their prime, the two aren't enough to fight him in his own home. But they do notice that he is older... Slower...

One day, Stan finishes a hunt, but his meal is rudely stopped by this older foe. He gives chase and corners Stan to a small cul de sac. Much as he wants to give the intruder a good thrashing, something felt off. Stan could've easily run away from him.

That mistake bit him in the foot. Strategy works in their favor once again; Stan and Jane use their smaller size and their comparatively faster speed in a series of hit and run attacks. Wound after wound, it starts paying off.

One such wound would make the old Sharptooth a bitter enemy in the future.
