I believe in a God who loves all of us beyond anything else.
I get what you mean though... yes its true that that does not either define reality but I live out what I believe aswell...
I don't just choose to believe in God therefore I'm a christian. no. I choose to live out what I believe and follow God's laws. Although I am not perfect, I admit, and I do still sin from time to time but I have confort in knowing that there is a God who forgives us of our sins and our debts.
