'Slip to the void
To the dark
To the fall
Crawl to the life you shouldn't know
You should never come this way
To test the hands of fate
You donβt belong here'
I just love it when I find photos that suit songs I know so perfectly -& yours does! This is: [link] Slip to the Void by Alter Bridge.
It's got that haunting sound that fits the foggy imagery... something like that.

I love it when music works so well with a photo... I have to say though that for me the atmosphere and memory is better suited to [link] . But whatever works for you is awesome

I don't know Moonsorrow, I mean, I'd heard the name, but that was the first song of theirs I've heard! So thank you I may go check out more of their stuff.

Ah! Now you do! And you shall have to check them out more. The long epics are their thing - most of their songs are between 7-10 minutes, and they have one which is 30 minutes which has this awesome bit in the middle that I love.

Wow, fantastic shot! I sort of wish it wasn't so misty when I was there. It's a great experience though, I'm sure you'll agree.

Wow....it's like stepping into a fantasy. This image is out of this world! Makes me want to go to Norway, if it has such beautiful places as this.

Believe me, being there was like being in a fantasy too! Well, going to Norway in itself was a fantasy, but as you say, it's just another world. It's even more incredible in real life. A lot of places you see the pictures and then you go there in real life and it doesn't live up to expectations... I was worried that I'd be disappointed when I went to norway cause I had such high expectations... but when I got there, it just blew my mind! I couldn't possibly have expected it to be that amazing. Around every corner, there is something like this, that is just beyond belief.

I'm so jealous! The moment I get enough money, I'm bumping Norway to the top of my list of placs to visit. I've never known much about this country, except a few cultural things from my friends who live there. I'm heard that there's a scandanavian stereotype that people from Norway love taking pictures of nature and stuff: now can understand why! Who wouldn't? Oh, I would love to go there and paint something, too. The country itself seems like a piece of art!

Yes, it really is. I don't know why it's not more well known, but I'm sort-of glad for it, I think. If everyone knew how incredible the country was, it would be covered in tourists .

this picture is great...i feel almost as scared as if i would really be there...color palette is nice too
i would love to visit that kind of place, very rough and "organic", but never had the opportunity for that yet^^

Thank you Well, I think the fear is overwhelmed by the beauty of it. I think I know what you mean by rough and organic. It's something that I relate really closely to fantasy stories and stuff, and it's just everywhere in Norway. It feels like another amazing world where anything is possible. I wish I was able to capture it better, I think this picture is the closest I got... but there were much greater places that I failed to capture.
Here's another picture (not mine) of the same place without the fog, it shows just how amazing it is: [link]
