Subject: A Dog, "Antoinette."Camera: Nikon D7000.
Location: Peggy Adams Animal League.
Date Taken: 03/19/12.
Comment: Antoinette was submitted with a leg injury, and (if things don't improve) may eventually need to have her leg amputated. She's a very sweet dog, though just a little apprehensive and shy.
Update: Antoinette has been adopted! The people who were on the fence about the decision a couple of days ago decided to adopt her. Yay!

She an Italian Greyhound? Or tiny Whippet pup? She's adorable! Amazing photo as well, the eyes are outstanding. I'd of taken her without a second thought, glad she has a home now!

The process of adopting a dog (or cat) from Peggy Adams depends on several factors, including the age of the animal (above or below six months old), whether it's a dog or cat (fees for dogs are generally slightly higher), and if the owner and pet being adopted are both seniors (adoption fees are waived for people age 55 or older adopting a dog or cat that is 5 years or older).
The fees generally range between $50 and $95, which is very reasonable when considering that the shelter spends an average of $400 on the care of each animal!

Cause I live in Alabama and so a trip to florida is no problem for me. This is a very very sweet dog D: and Id love to give her a home.
Meaning I'd take it into consideration. So a person of the age of around 20 could adopt her for around 50-95? Thats not bad actually considering like you said the care along with just the value of such a sweet face ;^;!! makes me melt!
