My Greyhound bitch Tira.The weird light and colours are due to two sources.
The background it lit by the late evening summersun, and Tira is lit by a Ikea lamp that stod beside the sofa.
Sighthounds, great for photography. If you dont want them to do anything.

Yeah, she is easy to pick out of a crowd.
Her name is Tira, witch comes from the swedish word "BlΓ₯tira" (Black eye). And you can see why

I love names with stories/meanings behind them!! just about all of my hounds have some kind of meaning behind their names.

Truth. Allthough there is a massive diffrence between Sweden and Ireland in that respect. There are no real money to make in racing in sweden, withs means that the racers here are pure familydogs.
Like the swedish cup - top money for first place: 7000 sek. Roughly 755 Euro. So its basicly just the nerds thats doing it here
And not that many goes up for adoption here, we do have groups that works with PAWS rescue and stuff, bringing the irish hounds here.

Anyway, no, not as young as that picture is saying. That is taken by the breeder. We got her at 8 weeks age. But I was between cameras then so I dont have any good shots of her that young.
A friend of mine visited and she has a few from 10 weeks age i think.
