Description
I went to this dog show on the Greyhound track near Stockholm, a small informal thing but still alot of things to point the camera at, as well as a special class for the running type of Greyhound.This is a Borzoi bitch, witch I can not remember the name of.
Beautiful colours, but apparently they could not compete with her since her bite was wrong.
A charmer, of course.

It's good if you live with someone. me and my girlfriend have two.
It would be more difficult being alone with them. Now if I've got an assignment or job she's usualy off and can hang out with the dogs, and vice versa.

Great shot! Borzoi are such awesome dogs. My sister, ~Dezzoi has one, she too can't show him because he has a really curly tail which "undesirable" in the ring.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the dog show world. Sometimes those people scare me...and some can be absolutely hateful. My twin and I always get torn apart when we go to dog shows (not to show, just to watch and see all the dogs) and we bring our "non-show quality" dogs with us.
Anyways, non-show quality dogs are just as beautiful, no matter what the standard says.

Yeah, I've got a pure breed Greyhound, but the racing type, and maaan I've met some Nazis in the shows. Fuck those people. Sad, sad ignorants.
Its just so scary that all they want to do is win, and look what has happend to so many races. People = shit as Slipknot spoted. 
Enough tantrum!
Tomorrow I am off to shoot some Lure Coursing for the first time. Hopefully I'll get something worth putting up here

I'd been dying to shoot them on the track, but there are none on the dogtrack where I love. My friend have one (the one roling in the leaves "Gone with the wind") and she goes to a dog trak with her, hopefully I'll see it this summer.

I can see why. It's a shame she couldn't compete.
And as for the photo itself, it is as beautiful as the dog. I love the warmth of the tones, and the way you've captured her seemingly looking into the sun is just wonderful. My favorite thing about this image, however, is how the little wispy hairs look so soft and touchable.
