There's so much simbolism you managed to catch in this picture! Aside from the grey skies (which would represent the difficulty of everyday life,the monotony) the fact that the girl has her back turned from the viewer shows us that she's ready to leave the shackles that been keeping her down to the average life of humanity and ready to face a much more spiritual and natural life for oneself (represented by the trees in the distance)-- that is,however,simply the way I see it.
There's both melancoly and hope mixed into this picture and I really came to love it at this point.
