Oh that was some years ago.
the Animaniac made the Picture of the Galaxy and I have drawn the Borders and Territories in it with Photoshop.

This is nice but the scale is way off. The United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire are actually quite small is relation to the galaxy and the unknown space is huge. The Milky-way galaxy is 100,000 light years in diameter. A galaxy class Starships at best can only travel 1000 times the speed light. That means it would take 100 years at top speed to travel clear across the galaxy. Since the Enterprise can travel to any federation star system, Romulus, and Kronos within only a few months time is reasonable to believe known Federation space is within a radius of 1000 light years. That means it would take 500 Federation size territories set in a row to span the galaxy.

I know it's from your fanfiction series but how accurate is the map in terms of cannon? Are the Borg and the Dominion really next to eachother like that? That would be an interesting fight.

I have tried to stay near as possible to the Canonmaps. According these Canonmaps from the Star Trek - Star Atlas the Borg Territory spreads out to the Gamma Quadrant. I was surprised too.

Because it was to complicated for me to draw the Empires on a 3D Ground. But the Galaxy was rendered in C4D by "the Animaniac"
