Kirkjufell, Iceland
Aurora Borealis over the famous Kirkjufell peak outside of Grundarfjordur, Iceland. The skies cleared up just in time to view the aurora for an hour or so. I loved this town and wish we could've stayed longer. Hopefully next time!

Hey thanks man! It was definitely worth going to We wandered off on some dirt road for this shot and ended up on the backside of the peak lol The typical angle is just outside of town.

You're right This is a manual blend though so the two exposures were 72 seconds for the sky and 112 seconds for the foreground.

My goodness, Jordan, this is stunning beyond words. The colours are so vivid, I'm amazed at how bright and reflective they are. I love that you can also see the stars, wonderful photo.

Very very good picture. The uniformity of the Arora glare is very nice and also it creats nice construst with blue sky and the glowing clouds. But how come the clouds get red glow. The mountain and the lake seem to be dreamland.

Hey thanks! The red glare is coming from the town of Grundarfjordur on the other side of the mountain
