More Pirates of the Foggy Waters characters, the next member of Primonk's crew Calypso Atlas. Calypso is a cyborg mermaid who works as the crew's chef. Calypso is a bubbly if somewhat ditzy mermaid who's very passionate about cooking. Due to having lived her entire life underwater she's a bit naive about the surface world, but has always dreamed of one going off to explore it hense why she joined Primonk's crew. She's a little insecure about her cybernetics, her lack of understanding towards such advanced technology making things extra difficult. Though she still tries to maintain an optimistic outlook, she's very affectionate often giving people bone crushing hugs. She's also a romantic and likes to play matchmaker with people. Also as a mermaid she's also the best singer on the crew.

She was raised by a crew of rough and tumble merfolk who were former pirates who now run an undersea restaraunt. I'm still debating on how she should become a cyborg, if she should be partially roboticized (similar to Bunnie from Sonic) or if she should have lost her limbs and had them replaced with cybernetics. Either way her cybernetics have a large assortment of different gadgets and gizmos built by Primonk (think like Captain Silver from Treasure Planet). As for my take on mermaids in this universe, I'm sort of going for a sort of mix of a monkey and a fish. Inspired by cartoon depictions of sea monkeys and also essentially a cuter version of Fiji Mermaid. The reason for this direction is due to this being an all animal world and wanted to make mermaids sort of fit that mold a bit more. Mermaids also have a special ability to have their bottom halves change between a pair of legs (for walking on land) and the traditional mermaid tail (for swimming in the ocean).
