That's a really dumb question, Graywing thought. But I can't tell Stoneteller that! "Well, the spider saved herself," he replied.
"Yes, it did," Stoneteller agreed. "And what will she do now?"

"That's right." Stoneteller mewed. "Wisdom and a long life come from being flexible. One day soon you will need to be just as flexible. You will have to be strong for yourself, and for other cats. You already know that life is hard. It's about to become harder.

Why is so many people so uninterested in reading DotC, according to my poll? To me they're the best arc. xD It's EXTREMELY refreshing because it's all new characters. The last couple arcs got old fast because I was starting to get tired of the same old characters. And in DotC it's all new characters and it tells how the clans came to be and they're just amazing! I don't know why so many people are against the arc and haven't even tried them. :\ Sigh. Maybe I can change some peoples minds. I really didn't want to draw any old characters, so sorry guys. My next spurt of Warriors art is all going to be DotC related. Maybe I can get more people to try them.
Anyways, this takes place in the prologue of the Blazing Star, the fourth book in the arc. I started it a couple days ago and I'm halfway through. I'm marking off a bunch of scenes that I want to draw. And I feel like this is a good improvement for my warriors art, especially the background. XD

I love this! I am a huge fan of the DotC books. I do agree with you the other arks tend to get boring after reading about the same characters over and over again. Dawn of the Clans was different and I wish the Erins would continue writing more in that arc. I would love to know more about the Founders.Β

i didnt like DOTC at first, but as the series continued, I thought ti was really clever how they planned everything out in a certain way so the ways of the warrior code fell into place. i wish it continued like that!

DOTC is so refreshing! Honestly I was so attached to the Forest Territories that I legitimately teared up when they all decided to up and leave.
Good plot point, but did it really have to be that sudden? :u ease me into this, Erins.
But being back in the Forest, seeing it untamed and being explored, brings me intense feels.
DOTC is the first arc that was "never want to put it down" other than the Original Arc.

I agree! I enjoy all the new characters - before Firestar and all the others even existed. I'm literally caught up on EVERYTHING Warriors at this point, so I'm really anticipating getting the last DOTC in September. Warriors withdrawals!

When DOTC is done, I'm totally gonna read the whole series in chronological order, so I can go through the full story of the Clans.

I wish I had time to re-read them all, but I find it hard to do that when there is so many other books to read ;_;

I like them, they're nice. I didn't think so at first but now that I have actually started to read them, I agree with you. They are refreshing because of all the new characters, no new battle moves, ten thousand borders, warrior code, lack of knowledge, ect....

Personally, I really love Dawn of the Clans. It is probablyΒ my favorite series, overall.Β I agree, the last two arcs after The New Prophecy were a bit boring just becauseΒ it was about the same characters and always from ThunderClan's point of view. Reading about the same characters in the same Clan, gets old.

I like DOFC a lot too, however I think the series is going a bit long. I feel like the same message could have gotten across without so many books. But anyways, I do really like the characters. Clear Sky especially because its so interesting because he legitimatelyΒ thought he was doing the right thing.

I haven't read Warriors in forever but I did start reading DotC and it was simply superb. It could probably even rival the first arc.
Ive only read the first 2 books of DotC (I can't find the books online ANYWHERE!) though

The fresh perspectives from characters we've heard legends about in the original saga finally have their actual story told and people aren't appreciating it as much as I thought they were. Not to mention the story takes place in the Forest so its a throwback to those times to

Yeah! And I don't know, the fact that there is new characters make it a lot more compelling. Like, the old characters were getting old fast. We already knew everything about them. And in the new arc we're discovering new personalities and seeing new back stories unfold.
