These are the emblems in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies. They're just like the rank levels that you reach when earning XP in multiplayer. They change when you reach the highest round in survival or grief mode. I'm not sure if you can rank up on custom games. It depends how long you can survive for and help your friends if they need help. You can rank up on Green Run and Nuketown Zombies. TranZit does not let you rank up.PS: You can be DE-ranked if you play bad or screw around like letting your teammates die on purpose, stealing kills, throwing EMP grenades at the perks, box, and Pack-A-Punch, hogging the box without giving someone a chance, leaving your friend with a hoard of zombies, and dying on purpose while your the last person alive. Just remember, don't try to ruin the game for everyone. But if you're new to Black Ops 2 zombies, I'll teach you how to get better at zombies.

YTou can also get DE-ranked for inactivity. I didn't play for 4 days, and went down a few ranks. I went from a Skull with blue eyes and 5 tally marks to a skull w/o blue eyes and only 3 tally marks. I hate that it ranks you down for inactivity, because some people don't have time to. You can also rank up in custom, I went from 2 bones to the blue eyed skull in one match(headshots only, and I got 957 kills/headshots).

I understand the ranks now, maybe not completely, I am a skull-knife blue eyes, however I'm not at home for a few days so I will loose my tally. Also I was on with someone who was the highest rank, they went down 9 times and I revived them every time, I'm guessing you have to really suck to rank down

I'm still trying to understand the ranking on zombies because I did use to have the skull with blue eyes and 5 marks but then a few days ago I happened to hop back on to zombies and suddenly I'm set back to cross bones with 3 marks. Little stumped when I usually play up to 15 - 20 rounds every time. I suppose it depends on how well you play every time/round? :/

I have no earthly idea, it was quite annoying. Thought I play a few times one day and it would go back up - nope, it actually set me back one more time.
