Description
A commission of Hugo Pratt’s Corto Maltese! I was asked to draw this character at Fan Expo this weekend. I didn’t know much (anything) about the character before Jeff asked for a commission of him. I had only seen him while browsing through some of Hugo Pratt’s fantastic artwork.

The character was great to draw, and painting him had me thinking about revisiting watercolours. I’ve been working solely in gouache for a while now, and it was kind of freeing to break out of that for a bit.
