This is a big commission I just finished that’s been a little while in the making. A lot of fun to paint all these different characters together. Thanks, Neil!They are, of course, Paddington Bear, Dr. John Watson, Rupert Bear, Sherlock Holmes, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Bungo (who is a Womble). The “Motley Hall” sign references another British children’s show, The Ghosts of Motley Hall.

And that's a mirror, if I'm talking about the same thing you're talking about. I referenced a life-sized, working-train replica of Thomas that had a mirror, so I stuck it on. I realize now that it wasn't on the original portrayals of the character. Didn't really think about it at the time!
