I have a question. Is it still shipping if the two are actually a couple in the show? or it's shown that they like each other in that way but nothings ever shown?
It's just in the official IDW comics **Spoiler Alert** Cheerilee gives Big Mac a kiss on the cheek before she walks off. **Spoiler Over**
I dunno how "Canon" we can call the comics but lets assume we can since they are licenced, does this count as shipping since I believed shipping was taking two characters who aren't romantically involved and making them lovers.

I think I needed this. I keep writing short stories for MLP drawings mostly, but got a bit discouraged by reading very good fanfics. I know I need to work on it, trying to get better and staying a bit judgmental on my works, but I think I'll use this as a reminder to what I need to do.
And I'm sure lot of artists will get related and be motivated by your piece. Thanks again.

Among the characters you represented in this lengthy strip was a pairing that I, myself, do not go out of my way to enjoy.
Therefore I'm going to ignore the piece's merits and focus solely on upbraiding you for depicting CheeriMac. I shall reduce the sum total of this piece's significance, indeed, your entire set of talents and skills in the arts as well as your personality, personal choices, and value as a person down to this one singular criterion, for which I feel an inexplicable (even obsessive) antagonism! I shall remain blissfully ensconced in a cocoon of unjustified rage, impenetrable to either self-reflection or the perspective necessary to put all of this into the context of a much larger and more nuanced world in which we live.
A world in which we live, yes, but despite the overwhelming odds against life at all, seated as we are in a statistically dismissible membrane of relative safety, sustaining but infinitely fragile, within a beautiful and expansive, yet utterly life-hostile embodiment of existence incomprehensible large and empty, we which we call a Universe, that cannot be said to care for any one person's petty prejudices or the whims of any one such collection of star-dust made conscious, but must be considered, if at all, through the lens of the collective human experience... as we are the Universe put together in such a way as to experience itself.
