Homer *gasps* I'VE GOT AN IDEA! How about we organize a big super party and we invite all of them to come? We'll serve lots of cake for everyone, like to Pacman and the Flush!

Marge- Mmm⦠okay, we can do that, but better ask Lisa to send the invites. I heard she's friends with Animal Man and he would have every guest's number.

Homer *smiles* Sounds great!
Homer goes up to Lisa's room, where she's reading a book.
Homer- Honey, guess what? What do you feel about throwing a party and all our superhero best friends come over?

Homer- But we'll have to work together to make this party happen. Your mom says you're a friend of some guy called Animal Dude or something, that between the two of you you can find all the guests and manage to call them for this...I guess...And your friend can come as well, if he's a super.

Lisa- Oh, right, Animal Man. Yes, I'm friends with him; also with Beast Boy and Vixen. Between the 3 of them, we can invite most of the heroic community.

Homer- You're friends with them? Hmm, they're all either big fans of jazz, or animal lovers.
Lisa- Uhm, the second one, dad.
Homer- Okay! You guys arrange yourselves with that. Your friends can come to the party too. Just keep in mind i don't want you to invite any of these:

Some time later, the Simpsons are all reunited together in the kitchen. Marge is consulting with a paper and pencil.
Marge- This party is gonna be big, and to make it happen all of us must work together. So I thought it'd be a good idea to divide the work between us. Lisa's already in charge with contacting the guests...I think our house isn't big enough to host all of the guests, so i'll search for an open, wide space in Springfield for the party.
Homer- No! That'll be expensive. You see, Marge, I have it all planned out. The party takes place in our house, with the backyard and front yard as well, and we can use the inside of the house as well if we get too crowded. Aquaman can use the bathtub, he'll like that!

Marge does her usual groan.
Marge- I don't think that's a good idea...The heroes will think low of us, like we're too poor to afford a proper setting for a party. I'll speak with the townsfolk about this; if nothing happens then we'll use the house as a last resort.
Lisa- Meanwhile we'll divide the work between us. Bart, you check on games and music for the party, mom will search for the place, I'll contact the guests...And then the food...

Homer- YA-HOOOOO!!!
Lisa- Just get sure we get vegetarian meals along with the meat. Some heroes are vegetarians.
Homer - D'oh.
Lisa- And some heroes drink beer.
Homer- YA-HOOO!!!

Marge groans again, and whispers to Lisa.
Marge- I think it'd be a better idea if you and I supervise the food. I don't trust your father keeping eye on so much food...

Marge then turns to the whole family.
Marge- Well then, each of us already has assigned something to do for this party. Here's hoping everything works out well in the end...
Homer- Hey! What do i do? You didn't give me any work.

Lisa- Mmm⦠you can help us clean up.

Homer- Clean? Oh!
Marge- Homie...I'll only ask for you to be presentable that day. I don't want it to be that the guests arrive, and you're in the couch, in your undies, unwashed and playing with Bart's videogames.

Marge- Hmm...Just promise me you'll be dressed for that day.
Homer- Okaaay.
Marge- I also thought it'd probably be a good idea to invite people from Springfield as well, like Moe or my sisters. They wouldn't like feeling left out of such a big party, with the amount of famous superheroes the party will have, I'm sure it'll make publicity soon.

Lisa- Indeed⦠*pause* But I hope the Mayor and Chief Wiggum don't come; I don't want the heroes to see the government and police force's state.

The kids- Good!
Homer- But...
Marge- Yes, Homie, I know your requests as well. We'll avoid calling Ned.

Marge- I just hope everything works out well.
Several days later, the day of the party comes over. The guests are about to arrive and the Simpsons are finishing the last touches.

Marge- It's okay---Okay let's see, we have everything ready. Music, food, games, all of you look alright- HOMER!

Marge- The one thing I asked you to do, and you didn't do it! And the guests are about to arrive!
And the doorbell rings, and Bart goes to open.

Flash- Hey, Bart!!! *looks at Homer* Whoa. The party already started?

Marge- Just go get dressed, Homer. *turns to Flash, points to the couch* I'm happy to see you, Mr. Flash. Make yourself at home. We were thinking of having the party in the backyard once we have a big group of guests, but since you're the first to come you can spend some time inside the house.Β

Flash- Got it. *does it in 2 seconds* There. It's done. I'd have done it faster but I didn't want to damage the food; oh, and I dressed up Homer... and washed my hands afterwards.
Homer's voice - What the... Hey, I'm dressed!!! Ya-hoo!!!!

Marge- Thank you so much, Flash. Here, take anything you want. *points to a few presents, drinks and food on a table*
Bart- Figured Flash would be the first to come to the party. Who do you think is next, Liz?
Lisa- Hmm... *doorbell rings again*

Lisa - Great to see you all!! *smiling* You came together, eh?

Ted's bug-shaped ship is now flying over the neighborhood.
