City Of Heroes characters commissioned artwork.

Sukhotai versus the Evil Witch.

The client wanted an Asian style background while the two battle one another.

This was the only thing he supplied for description and I was given leeway on how this would look so I did what I think is best for this piece.

Since the setting is oriental, I've decided to make the character sport some martial art poses.

From the references supplied, Sukhotai has fire blasts so I may make the flames look like firebats.

Evil Witch has some sort of red plasma rays, I'm contemplating on how I'll deal with the glowing plasma trails coming from her hands later on in the color rendering process.

Inked using Pentel color brush, Artline pens.

It took me five hours to ink. If not for the speed lines and the cherry blossom tree i would have probably finished this sooner.
