Neesha, the horned girl, is a party member from the Neverwinter Knights games, and a major character in the fic. The dwarf's King Breunor Battle-Hammer, from the Icewind Dale books.

So, wait... Master Chief, The Arbiter and Cortana, allied with Neeshka and Bruenor Battlehammer, fighting in the Forgotten Realms? My mind, it is blown by the awesome. This is either the premise for the best cross-over fic EVER, or a really, REALLY appalling one... Either way, this is getting +faved for sheer, insane awesome.
God dammit, now I want to work that into my DnD campaign, but my group would kill me xD

Uh-huh! And it all makes sense as well! It all fits and that's very hard to do with settings from such totally different backgrounds.
It's just a pitty that (last time I checked) it hasn't been updated in months...

Yup. And there's a fan fiction that involves just that. If you haven't noticed, under her armor pieces she's wearing UNSC Marine undersheath armor! (You can tell as it's even sheathed around her tail)
