Description 42" x 24" Acrylic on Wood

Sometimes it's the most beautiful thing to see a little blue rectangle floating around in the most chaotic torrent of abstraction.

Whoa. Did you paint a woman in the middle on purpose? This is fantastic, I haven't seen a style like this yet. Super inspiring : )

If you stare at it long enough you see a lot of things. One of the few works I enjoy hanging up in my house. Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot!!

How Fun! Extremely Intense. I can't help but wonder at your state of mind at the beginning, middle, and end of the painting???

Seriously... should I look for Waldo?

(ps... when I try to estimate hours on my pointillist paintings, I try and count up the days of work and then give an average of how many hrs per day... gets me close when people ask the question... besides... telling them the ungodly amount of hours seems to give the artwork more value to some people)

Thank you so very much. My state of mind was rather numb throughout the whole thing. Kind of a meditation maybe? Much of my work takes over 100 hrs. People are always astounded by such a number... then I remind them that if I worked on it like a true professional artist, it could be done in a matter of a couple weeks.

I hear you. My last major painting took me 300 hours to complete (from drawing through painting). People indeed react with a sense of greater worth when they hear about the time spent.

I'm still wondering if I should look for Waldo!

If Pollock had spent so long doing this amount of detail considering an appealing form and color composition along the way I would understand him better. Amaizng work.

Where's Waldo in this one?

Thanks so much! It took too much time.... This was before I cared to keep track of hours... but an educated guess would put it around 120 hrs. Oh the intimacy one feels when they sit in cramped positions painting nonsense swirls for that long...
