Children...I find are great to capture when they are being themselves......great choice using B&W, and the DOF I must say...well done!

I like it. It reminds me of a time I went out with my dad. I was like 7 and it was the first time he'd ever shown a direct interest in me. I'd always heard stories, most of them bad, but he was turning his life around and he and my mother had agreed it'd be nice if he got to know me. I found out later it's because he had cancer and I was a loose end. I didn't mind though, I was just happy to be with him. Anyway, one time we went out to a park near where he lived, and admittedly the park was a beautiful place, but I just wanted to talk to him, and hear about his life. I found myself utterly unimpressed with anything that wasn't him...this just brought back that memory. *wipes away the beginnings of a tear*. Thanks.
