Description
DeenvironmentalizationA sui generis view of the urban landscape, Philadelphia, PA. USA
----------
The lamps shown a peculiar iridescence this particular sunset, and she looked at father and said, "The trees never looked so alive!"
He swallowed a tear as he sadly cohered. "The sight love, is indeed a beautiful thing, but you should have seen the trees that shown a raiment green." Beneath the smile of reminiscence to hearing his own words, he thought . But she will never understand; as he mopped the grief from his cheeks with the brim of his hand.

Gorgeous shot, sad story. it is sad that we lack the beauty that trees and plants once lent to the sunset, but we have a different beauty in the buildings and statues and other man made things. Each different form of beauty has its own place I think. Plants and trees to the country and buildings to the city. As long as we can find a balance between the two we shouldn't have to morn for the loss of either.

This is indeed a wonderful composition - sad and bleak. The trees of the city...

I like how the frame centers itself around the sky, almost forcing the viewer to see not only the subject down below, but the impact that subject has within the greater context of the environment.

Thanks, I'm glad that you noticed the concept. I'm surprised this image and writing has gotten such little feedback, I felt that it really produces a feeling of discomfort. I seem to find myself questioning the value of my work or articulation of the ideas that im trying to convey on here these days.

Hah, you should never judge your work by the reception you get on da. If there is articulation, people will just miss it completely. The only thing that gets good feedback is simple high contrast flashy photography that has no meaning at all.
Your work has value that I see, it is fairly refreshing to see your images that obviously have thought behind them.
