Description Developed Utopia
16th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. USA.

I always enjoy capturing shots that frame themselves. The exit from Suburban Station in Philly gave me a good opportunity today. The framing that the stairway offered allowed me to avoid capturing anything at ground level. The higher up you go in the city, the cleaner everything gets...in more ways than one. It also gets dirtier...but I'll let the image do the talking. This view along with the beautiful sky almost gave me a look inside of some urbanized utopia...or a utopia that's been urbanized? And don't miss the light fractals on the left. Hope you will enjoy

Full view, please!

yes, yes, yes!

I love this shot - architectural but with a POINT...

Thanks for the description - giving me some ideas to improve my own work with.

Personally; from my experience, the higher you go up in society(who are usually the ones higher up in the buildings) the dirtier things get, but I do get what you're saying here and I love it. Not just the idea though - the photo works on many levels as well.

This is very nice - I love the reflections of the clouds that you can see on different surfaces

Splendid work. Cities make the sky look so unnatural. All that steel and glass makes anything that looks real oddly juxtaposed to everything around it.

excellent dispersion of light, capturing the framework of the buildings (without them being silhouettes) and the azure sky. love the railings to direct focal point.

Hey I love this! The framing, the contrast between the black buildings and the bright blue sky AND the reflection in the building windows. Nice capture!
