A piece from my photo study on life in North Philadelphia--one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in urban United States. Broken and shattered icons like this litter the streets and sidewalks throughout these neighborhoods. They accurately represent the violently failed institutions, dreams and lives that inhabit this ghettoized section of the city.

yes! josh I envy your skills. seriously, i wish I had what you have with photography. never give it up, never take for granted your artistic abilities because there are many in the world (including me) who would love to be able to put our names on a photo such as this.
