Shot during my day working on the homelessness project. Pigeons are often the most frequented company of the victims of homelessness. They don't ask for much, just some food from time to time, and a place to sleep. They don't judge either. Maybe that is why they make for such good company...these two have much in common. They both are somehow greatly overlooked, despite the beauty to be found.

My feelings aside, I felt that this image speaks more-so about being that individual to step up and make things happen. The one that opens his or her eyes from complacency and takes notice. Every movement begins with one person. The others will then follow.
