I really looked at this hard, because it's amazing...and I couldn't figure out whether it was traditional art or photography until I saw your shot details. But it's amazing! I never really take the time to look at things from this angle, so thank you for doing it for me!

Fascinating shot - It's a good thing you've used B/W for this one, the patters of the wood wouldn't be as impressive in a coloured picture;
good work on the depht of field too, the fading background reflects the viewer's attention and draws it back to the focused patterns in the front
