You've taken a stereotypical comic villain and transmogrified him into something truly scary. The beady eyes reflecting the firelight; the cracked, squamous skin around his black, gaping maw; his fangy teeth; and the wreath of flames really helps to bring him to "reality". Well done

The Castle music constantly playing in your mind as you dodge random streaks of fire, and Spinning fire ropes ... the "elevators" one going up one going down, gotta time the jump just right, or try to run on top of the map! the pipes with Spikey plants coming up or down, or sideways!
then you finally get to the guy.... flinging dozens of hammers and shooting fireballs... you gotta run under him or jump over him, or if you were lucky to keep Flower Mario, blast him with fireballs, then kill the bridge on the other side.. only to find... "Sorry Mario, but the princess is in another castle." GAAAH...

I recently completed Mario 3d land & found out there is an alternative universe where I can go threw the same crap in a more intense way either being chased by some poison demon dude of having 30 seconds & having to constantly grab the lil clock things XD I'm in late world 3 now
