to be honest i didnt really use line on this one... i just went in and painted big shapes... although im doing a piece now and i started with a quick line sketch so i think its different for how im feeling... dont have a solid process so to speak. Although I start messy... like to stay loose so 'messy' works

In a conclusion... what you said about how you hoped that other people would like this deviation, how you posted this for the men and women of deviantART... such an incredible piece of art for such a noble cause. You, my friend, deserve this Daily Deviation. Big time. This deviation is incredible, possibly the best Mario-related artwork that I've ever seen in my entire life, and I've seen a lot of Mario pieces of art, I'll have you know. Encore... Encore!

He looks more like he is Weather-worn, like a gargoyle that has seen too much acid rain. XD I just mean he looks a little too old to be the same Bowser.

I doubt anybody would. Unless they had a shotgun or a really big sword to punch through all those scales and maybe even that shell. XD Or maybe they wouldn't mind since he is so pathetic nowadays.

It does look a little like a "rock monster" rather than a lizard. I think it's the lack of scales in place of crags. Still and epic peace, but it's more like a statue in his castle... kinda like the one that spits fire boulders at you in Mario Cart Wii.
