Description
I recently watched a show on horizon called my pet dinosaur. It was about if the comet that killed the majority of the dinosaur population, missed and that man evolved in a differnt way to our known ancestors by going in the trees.
It showed a modern world of people farming protoceratops for meat and eggs.
I then thought, if people had evolved with dinosaurs then all ancient people would have had to live with them also.
This exited me, on the possibilitys of how people could have used the different dinosaurs i different ways, also breeding them to suit perposes (war, beauty, transport).
I love James Gurneys Dinotopia but it is limited because they live in a collective multi-cultured utopian society, so war and armies are unheard of.
So this allows me to make war dinosaurs aswell as having the same idilic pictures as Gurneys world.
Edit: Thanks too a tip from a fellow DA Im changing this too a Charonosaurus, a dinosaur similar to Parasaurolophus but lived in asia, worked better than the other idea.
I want to draw an Emperer Charonosaurus bred for the emporer himself and his faithful gaisias.
Here is an ancient japanese soldier (based on real japanese soldiers and clothing) with his mount, a base Charonosaurus, bred for speed and strength.
I'm hopefully going to do more of this series so look out.
hope you like it!

That's a really cool concept!
But I don't see people farming Dinos for meat for some reason. Maybe they still wouldn't find it Kosher lol.

Love this image and this concept. I would love to see more of these concepts. Like would the more ruthless groups use carnivores like the T-Rex?

Birds in a small sense would still exist but not in the forms we know them today, and all mammels that live today would be non existant as there would have been no place to fit in the evolutionary chain. So dairy from cows is non existant but eggs would have been a big part of human diets, and there would be population control on a lot of hadrosaur species because they bred like rabbits lol.

If birds would have taken different forms, could there be a Chocobo?

Chocobos are the big birds most characters ride in the Final Fantasy games.
Do a search on them if you'd like.

i rememeber, but no, in this fantasy world its only dinosaurs, but some large prehistoric birds might have evolved but not likly as they took over from thr dinosaurs, if they never died out then they would have never evolved?

Sounds like an awesome program The idea of humans and dinosaurs living together has always intrigued me.... What would become of non-human mammals and birds, though?
