Description Wartortles are actually deep sea pokemon.

Using their rudder like ears they ride the currents for miles moving to new feeding grounds.
They generally eat shellfish, small crustations and some types of seaweed.

Wartortle are powerful swimmers and can swim from one end of an olympic pool to the other in a few seconds.
They are amazing creatures as they are a member of group of animals that are both reptiles and mammels.
On the inside they have mamalin features in their bones teeth and brain, while on the outside they are very much like reptiles. The stronger and older they get the more mamelian features come out, for example ears.

They have hard beaks which they use to break open hard shells but further back they have molars which they use for chewing.

Wartortles have what a lot of water pokemon have called a water bladder. They can store a large quantity of water in this bladder and build up a great deal of pressure within in, when the times right they can let it out in powerful blasts.

Once and a while 'mainly in the mating season they will come to shore to mate or to lay eggs.
The males use their feathery/fleshy tails to attract female by doing a strange dance, shakking their tails in bursts.
If the females like them they will mate.
males will occantionally fight for females by scratching each other with their large claws.

Females will then return in a month to lay their eggs.
Using their large clawed shovel like hands they can dig deep holes in the sand where they lay up to 30-40 eggs at a time.
They then leave to let their babies hatch.
The squirtles hatch a few weeks later and digg their way to the surface. They must run to the sea, avoiding sea birds and other animals who want an easy meal.
Squirtles will probably never meet their parents.

Hope you like it

This sure is a cool creature. Kinda reminds me of a kappa. The part-mammilian classification is a good way of covering some of its odd features (a turtle with teeth? Come on!). The picture is great, even showing sand floating around after being disturbed from the pokemon moving in it. The one thing that I'm not too fond of is the tail - it doesn't have any sort of texture, and is just there, but the rest of the creature looks top notch.

...Though you'd think ears deep underwater would just lead to swimmer's ear...

I however, LOVE this pokemon's hands. They've got some great texture, and are overall just plain cool looking, and unique, while still looking like the pokemon's. Great job on the hands.

...And now we know why water pokemon can release water almost indefinitely! Hurrah!

The tail is meant to look like a fleshy mass but i see what you mean, a little shading would give it a bit of depth glad you like it

Hi, this is (I got a second accout), and I would really apreciate your opinion (lol, even if you think its' terible ) on my latest deviation. I tried giving an old design of mine a more realistic build.

now, sorry but a question... arent squirtle and up supposed to be pond turtles? like they're sweet water pokemon
