Description
Paras, first thought to be insects are now understood to be deep cave crabs. They have glow in the dark eyes to attract any small insects that live in the near pitch black caves. They are usually solitary creatures but occationally gather near large underground rivers where they breed in large groups.They have a symbyotic relationship with a unique type of fungus that grows on their back, the crab gives the mushrooms nutrients while the fungus gives the crab a means to defend itself by gicing off poisonus spores.

How nice to see a piece of Paras fan art! 
This is really nicely done. Immediately I like the realistic take on Paras' anatomy, especially its claws. I also like how it looks kinda threatening with its luminous eyes and leaning-forward pose. That backdrop is awesome as well and really fitting to the little cave crab.
