Rare to see in the wild as Pikachu's evolve when exposed to Thunder stones, the radiation triggers a dormant gene that sparks an evolution. Sometimes near Thunder Stone mines you will find wild Raichu's but mostly you would see Pikachu's. Raichu's are much faster and stronger Pokemon than Pikachu's but it is rare for them to breed. If they are wild they would usually live around the same areas as Pikachu but like to have their own burrows and are very territorial. If evolved from a Pikachu while in training, they become very loyal and focused, but catching wild ones is difficult as they are near impossible to train.Hope you like my personal fav

Great raichu. I like how this one looks easily like it could come from your pikachu. It's definitely the same kind of animal. And you gave him a great tail to top it off! I'm also lovin' those whiskers.

cos it was better trained, simple, sometimes brute strength doesnt always beat brains and agility.

...So that means Ash was wrong to criticize Surge's ethics about evolution.

well surge says the higher evolved they are the better the pokemon right? well ash agreeing with pikachu to keep him as a pikachu, and proving to surge by beating him shows that sometimes intelligence is better than braun. if i remeber correctly doesnt pikachu outsmart the riachu? surges riachu was good in strength, but pikachu out witted it

I remember Ash (or Brock) saying that raichu shouldn't have evolved when it did, because that meant he couldn't learn agility, which is the move pikachu used to beat him.
...In any case, there was a disadvantage to evolving. I don't know what it was, but I sure know it was there.

well in the game you can learn moves that evolved versions cant if you stop them from evolving so that probably what it meant

Well in lower forms certain pokemon can slowly grow and harniss their full abilitys. Evolving isnt always naturally better even if they are stronger. E.g Pikachu in the wild dont usually evolve unless exposed to thunderstone radiation, so they harniss their full potential, using speed and electricity to the best of their ability, but if you evolve a pikachu before it has reached its full potential, then the riachu has a lot of power, but doesnt know how to fully use it, you see? Its like just learning to walk and suddenly being told to run, youll stuble and not be a very good runner, but if your given a chance to master walking first, then youll be a far better runner when it comes to it.

I enjoy anyone's vision of realistic Raichu, and this one is really rather cute. I personally view Raichu was a kangaroo rat-like creature, but any Pokemon is open to interpretation. Cute description you included with the image, too. I'd almost want to catch one of these wild Raichu just for the challenge of befriending it :3
