Wow. No seriously, I could just stop there and anyone who sees your work would just be like, "yeah that's a pretty appropriate response. But I guess I'll elaborate a little...
Style here is unlike anything I've seen before. It reminds me of an old oil painting you might see in an old person's home or a lighthouse, it has a sense of age and time to it which I find appropriate. It makes the look of the boats and bell have a kind of...realistic feel to them. As if this was a real moment that was simple captured.
The mist, of course, is fantastic. It looms and conceals and while we can clearly see what is out there, it is faded and that makes the macabre sense of uncertainty stronger.
You make the ice look impeccably real as well.
The only very very tiny thing (this is just something I would have thought of) would be to have the "eyes" glowing a little brighter, not quite penetrating the fog, but kid of giving a little glint, as if suggesting that this thing was some kind of lighthouse, or alluding to an ominous presence with the light giving it a metaphor to false hope.
Still, this is just incredible all around and it truly does speak for itself, though it leaves us pondering the story behind it.
