Description Wartortles are actually deep sea pokemon.

Using their rudder like ears they ride the currents for miles moving to new feeding grounds.
They generally eat shellfish, small crustations and some types of seaweed.

Wartortle are powerful swimmers and can swim from one end of an olympic pool to the other in a few seconds.
They are amazing creatures as they are a member of group of animals that are both reptiles and mammels.
On the inside they have mamalin features in their bones teeth and brain, while on the outside they are very much like reptiles. The stronger and older they get the more mamelian features come out, for example ears.

They have hard beaks which they use to break open hard shells but further back they have molars which they use for chewing.

Wartortles have what a lot of water pokemon have called a water bladder. They can store a large quantity of water in this bladder and build up a great deal of pressure within in, when the times right they can let it out in powerful blasts.

Once and a while 'mainly in the mating season they will come to shore to mate or to lay eggs.
The males use their feathery/fleshy tails to attract female by doing a strange dance, shakking their tails in bursts.
If the females like them they will mate.
males will occantionally fight for females by scratching each other with their large claws.

Females will then return in a month to lay their eggs.
Using their large clawed shovel like hands they can dig deep holes in the sand where they lay up to 30-40 eggs at a time.
They then leave to let their babies hatch.
The squirtles hatch a few weeks later and digg their way to the surface. They must run to the sea, avoiding sea birds and other animals who want an easy meal.
Squirtles will probably never meet their parents.

Hope you like it

Hope you don't run out of steam, I can't beleive you got one in before I finished my math.

You just never stop making these things so realistic do you? I dunno what to say, it's amazing as usual. Great design and great description! Just to critique you for a moment, I didn't really like the look of the tail in comparison to the rest of the body. Still, it look great! keep it up!

Ive always had a problem with the tail on wartortle anyway, but i saw it more like a fishes tail you know, loose skin and transparent for display purposes, so i tried to make it look fleshyer etc

GS47 In reply to JoshuaDunlop [2007-06-29 15:59:42 +0000 UTC]

ah, ok. I see now. Sorta like a golfish's tail, fluffy, but fleshy and transparent...well, more translucent but you can still se throught it for the most part, right?

wow
I watched stuff like that when I was growing up but after 10 y/o I lost cable and never got to see my shows again (discovery channel/animal planet ect.. - rarely watched cartoons)
when I found pokemon I was entranced in a happy place and as life went on I lost my happyness (lost cable/money/friends)
I got depressed and more stuff happened - life lol
eventally I found happyness again but it was several years later (happened just a few months ago - thats like 4 or 5 years of depression)
now I try to watch pokemon and play the games (keeps me happy - better than the alternative)
so im in debt to the ones that made pokemon and I am grateful for the cool artwork and stories I read online
like your art - kicks so much butt - it looks so real I would swear they were real pic.s and I love the biographys
4kids needs to hire you lol
make a real life film or somethin'
that would be so cool
they cant waste your talent
