ohh he/she is gorgeous
btw have you ever tried creating adoptables? I know some people view adoptables badly but I am sure you could sell animal designs like this for a good price, your art is amazing and your designs are great and well thought out

well how to explain it... you can either sell the actual art or the design; if you sell the rights to the art you are allowing whoever buys it to use the art and design however they please, if you sell the design its like they are buying the rights to the design only so they can turn it in to a character/ creature that they draw/right about and own themselves. (not a great explanation sorry)
you could potentially make the wingless griffin a closed species so only you can design them and sell them and only people who buy one from you may "possess" one
you can either make lots of adoptables using one base or make each adoptable with completely unique art the choice is yours but sometimes people are willing to pay more for adoptables made using original art
people upload them all over the place but to get to the main area for adoptables you go to deviantART Related / Devious Fun / Adoptables . there are lots of different levelled artists posting there, mainly quite young inexperienced "artists" like me selling adopts for points, but you also get professional artists who make a living by selling adoptables for proper money usually on PayPal. it is quite hard to judge the price you should sell your adoptables at but if you look around at other adoptables you should get a rough idea
you can sell adoptables at a fixed price, offer to adopt (where you let people offer what they think it is worth), or auction
some nice examples I have spotted recently (have a look at the prices and the way they sell them);

artists that are new to adoptables often have little interest in their designs at first but after a while you get more interest and watchers and people snap up your designs more quickly, and once you have been doing it a while you often get commissions to design characters or draw pre-existing ones it is up to you if you want to accept them or not.
speaking cynically there are several "ploys" to get more interest in your designs if you are struggling (you probably wont have to worry about this) some people hold draw to adopt contests (you design an adoptable that people draw and you decide the winner and they get the adoptable free), others hold raffles where people watch you and comment on the adoptable in the hopes that they get it for free, online random number generators are often used to pick a winner (I don't quite get this so sorry for the bad explanation), others hold "design your own contests" where participants are allowed to design their own member of your closed species and you get to pick a winner that is allowed to keep their design and turn it in to an OC (I don't really get this much either)
one thing that is often really necessary is that you post your adoptables in different adoptable groups so they get maximum exposure often people don't notice them if you don't
what ever you do though I suggest you come up with a list of rules so you are happy that your art/designs will be used in a way that you approve of, you should post this list on every adopt you want to sell so potential customers can read through it before purchase
I hope that hasn't put you of it is actually quite simple (I am just quite sucky at explaining things sorry
) the best way to work it out is to try it or observe other people who sell them it is quite easy to pick it up that way
I hope that helps
