Thanks, that was more luck than anything though. It just came whizzing past and it was simply a 'aim and fire' kind of shot.

Funny how different people see this picture. I find it rather gloomy (in a positive way!). The background gradient is nice, the crow itself almost reduced to a flat black pattern, if it weren't for the beak, which is lightened nicely, while the eyes remain in the shadow. Well done!
