I was inspired my the Granada Sherlock Holmes again, the one where it's portrait how utterly depressed Holmes becames as he cannot find the proof to stop innocent man's hanging. He had been awake all night and hair was one big mess and in the morning dr. Watson kneel before him and begged him to eat. But Holmes said he cannot waste time for digestion.At first I was planning just to copy that scene, but I went little bit in different direction, as you can see. I'm not sure about the story behind, but it must be that Holmes has hit one of his black moods and have taken very unhealthy amount of cocaine etc.
It makes me cry to think how much Watson dislikes his friends habit, as he is destroying himself, but he cannot change his mind as it is set to stone <3
Argh with these scanners that refuse scanning my pictures as they are. Mur mur. But ok, theres no background or anything, so. I'm not that bothered.
Sherlock Holmes and dr. Watson belong to sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this is just as illy fanart.

I like this a lot! I don't think I've ever read that Holmes story. Off to the library I shall have to venture.

wow, I can tell a lot of work went into this. I always like the story telling ones. Lots of drama and details. Real cool. I really like this style of art, too, with the sharp inking and bold colors.
must be stressful being close to Sherlock and witnessing his self destruction. EVen worse to wonder if your efforts aren't enough to save him.

I have to do more dramatic drug-use pictures as long as I'm deeply fangirling this over... I'm little bit too occupied in cuteness at the moment, but wait and see^^

yes, you should. There's not nearly enough, and that's one thing I always thought was cool about SH. Esp the fact that I have yet to find an example of it in canon. I'll bet you could tell me a story that focuses on it lol but off the top of my head I can't remember any of that. Several years ago when I was going through a random SH obsession like you are right now, I had read a lot of fanfics and read a lot about the drug use through fandom. I never really questioned it, I just accepted that as part of fact.
